January 19, 20206 yr Created a new Arch VM using the built in VM functionality and despite me putting in 120GB, it gets a 4K allocation? Can't really even update it. Where are things going wrong?
January 19, 20206 yr First thing that comes to mind is that all VM vdisks only take up the space they require, and grow to fill the max allocation. So, if you haven't actually booted the VM yet, formatted the vdisk etc then 4k seems to be about right.
January 19, 20206 yr Author Okay - for some reason my partitioning didn't take. I was following this guide: https://www.ostechnix.com/install-arch-linux-latest-version/ But the problem seems to be it doesn't create an EFI partition, so I probably need to do that as well?
