Access host (Unraid tower) from docker container with dedicated ip

Featured Replies

I need to create a container which will have it's own ip address given by dhcp / provided statically, and will be accessible via that ip by anyone in the network and will have access to all other nodes of the network.

Is there any Unraidy way to do this?

I tried to create a container on br0 interface with static ip, but it turned out that those containers can not access host directly and my switch is not managed, so I cant reroute vlan in the router. To fix that I tried to create macvlan to bridge br0 and bond0, but got `RTNETLINK answers: Device or resource busy` (stopping array didn't help).

AFAIK, docker itself enforces security provisions whereas a container with a dedicated IP cannot access the host directly.  If to access the host you want access to files on it, you can simply add another path mapping to the template
