No, AFAIK WD only uses SMR for 2 and 6TB models, and certainly not if it's one of these: WD80EFAX-68LHPN0 - original helium filled model WD80EFAX-68KNBN0 - newer air filled model Both are CMR. Thanks for your reply johnnie. I think its an WD80EFAX-68KNBN0 but will see after buy.
