Slow speed test

Featured Replies

I'm using unraid version 6.8.1.

I have 1000/100 mbit connection and I am experiencing slow speed tests and iperf3results. However, with Usenet I get full speed at around 80 mb/s and on my desktop PC I get full speeds too. This happened recently (perhaps after upgrade)

I have been using the Speedtest plugin with scheduler and I get these results:

With iperf3:

docker run  -it --rm networkstatic/iperf3 -c bouygues.iperf.fr -p 5200 -P 10

Results:

root@Tower:~# docker run -it --rm networkstatic/iperf3 -c speedtest.serverius.net -p 5002

Hi mrbusiness,

Welcome :) Can you explain your network in your home or office?

I had already have this problem when my SpeedTest plugin was install on a HDD and my speed test was not really good 😛 But when I tried to run by CLI (Unraid was present on a USB card) the SpeedTest was normal.

So the goal was to run on a SSD or M2 devices.

But let me know your network configuration.

This is my home network. I am using Unifi USG with pihole running on a raspberry Pi 4.

I am also running Bind9 DNS in docker on my unraid system to resolve local urls to IP (Please let me know if there's a better solution?)

My DNS are routed:

Internet <- USG <- Pihole <- Bind9 <- Clients

My internet should flow:

Internet <- USG <- Switch <- Clients

Please let me know what more you mean by network config?
