mrbusiness
I'm using unraid version 6.8.1. I have 1000/100 mbit connection and I am experiencing slow speed tests and iperf3results. However, with Usenet I get full speed at around 80 mb/s and on my desktop PC I get full speeds too. This happened recently (perhaps after upgrade) I have been using the Speedtest plugin with scheduler and I get these results: With iperf3: docker run -it --rm networkstatic/iperf3 -c bouygues.iperf.fr -p 5200 -P 10 Results: root@Tower:~# docker run -it --rm networkstatic/iperf3 -c speedtest.serverius.net -p 5002 Connecting to host speedtest.serverius.net, port 5002 [ 4] local 172.17.0.20 port 52518 connected to 178.21.16.76 port 5002 [ ID] Interval Transfer Bandwidth Retr Cwnd [ 4] 0.00-1.00 sec 18.4 MBytes 154 Mbits/sec 0 653 KBytes [ 4] 1.00-2.00 sec 13.8 MBytes 115 Mbits/sec 0 611 KBytes [ 4] 2.00-3.00 sec 12.5 MBytes 105 Mbits/sec 0 605 KBytes [ 4] 3.00-4.00 sec 13.8 MBytes 115 Mbits/sec 0 608 KBytes [ 4] 4.00-5.00 sec 13.8 MBytes 115 Mbits/sec 0 608 KBytes [ 4] 5.00-6.00 sec 13.8 MBytes 115 Mbits/sec 0 611 KBytes [ 4] 6.00-7.00 sec 13.8 MBytes 115 Mbits/sec 2 619 KBytes [ 4] 7.00-8.00 sec 13.8 MBytes 115 Mbits/sec 0 628 KBytes [ 4] 8.00-9.00 sec 13.8 MBytes 115 Mbits/sec 0 611 KBytes [ 4] 9.00-10.00 sec 13.8 MBytes 115 Mbits/sec 0 611 KBytes - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [ ID] Interval Transfer Bandwidth Retr [ 4] 0.00-10.00 sec 141 MBytes 118 Mbits/sec 2 sender [ 4] 0.00-10.00 sec 134 MBytes 112 Mbits/sec receiver iperf Done. Digital
Hi mrbusiness, Welcome Can you explain your network in your home or office? I had already have this problem when my SpeedTest plugin was install on a HDD and my speed test was not really good 😛 But when I tried to run by CLI (Unraid was present on a USB card) the SpeedTest was normal. So the goal was to run on a SSD or M2 devices. But let me know your network configuration. Quote Link to comment

I am also running Bind9 DNS in docker on my unraid system to resolve local urls to IP (Please let me know if there's a better solution?) My DNS are routed: Internet <- USG <- Pihole <- Bind9 <- Clients My internet should flow: Internet <- USG <- Switch <- Clients Please let me know what more you mean by network config?
