January 23, 20206 yr Editing VM and switching from GUI <-> XML hasn't been fixed and has been like this forever. When will this be fixed? Problem is when switching it does not carry over. Does anybody know the workaround for this?

Because people don't tend to switch between xml and GUI frequently. And even if they do need both then it's trivial to save the template first and then re-edit.
