Dashboard question.

Featured Replies

Hi ... just noticed an entry of  '30' against my 'media' share on the dashboard and was wondering what this means?

It's under the streams heading but, 30??

Any way to check what this is referring to, are they open streams cos if they are i cant find them.

I installed Dynamix active streams and it doesnt see any so i'm just wondering how to identify what these are and what they are doing?

Dynamix active streams uses the same logic to determine streams as the dashboard.

When streams are opened and don't generate traffic, they are not visible in active streams.

Have you tried to keep active streams open for a longer period of time?

I just dont know what these streams are. Thtas the reason for my question, dashboard is now showing 45 and i, to my knowledge havent opened these 'streams'. What is the definition of a stream? DActiveS shows '0'.

Think i've found the 'reason' but dont understand it.

The docker 'makemkv' seems to be the culprit and on opening the number of streams seems to immediately increment to >30.

If anyone knows why then please share any info.

I'll post the problem, as i see it, on the relevant docker discussion forum.

Thanks.
