Ryzen 9 3900x gigabyte x570 no CPU/MOBO temp shown still...

Recommended Posts

Hey guys was just wondering if there’ll be a fix for this soon? I can’t get my temp to show at all it’s abit worrying to say the least I like to be able to monitor the temps? I thought it would be sorted in 6.8.2 but no luck 😞

Working fine here?

Quick question, kind off topic but I just bought a x570 pro4 but can't get the ethernet to work on the board. Looking online this looks to be a common issue so I was wondering, how did you get your onboard LAN to be recognized?

So i cant get my temps to show up in unraid Version: 6.8.3 3900x CPU with a ASUS PRO WS x570 ACE mobo. I tried the it87 hack and inserted the code in the boot/config/go file and still nothing. If I run sensors in the terminal I get:

No sensors found!
Make sure you loaded all the kernel drivers you need.
Try sensors-detect to find out which these are.

if I run sensors-detect i get:

root@UNRAIDstorage:~# sensors-detect
# sensors-detect version 3.6.0
# Board: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. Pro WS X570-ACE
# Kernel: 4.19.107-Unraid x86_64
# Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core Processor (23/113/0)

This program will help you determine which kernel modules you need
to load to use lm_sensors most effectively. It is generally safe
and recommended to accept the default answers to all questions,
unless you know what you're doing.

Some south bridges, CPUs or memory controllers contain embedded sensors.
Do you want to scan for them? This is totally safe. (YES/no): yes

Thanks for any help!

I get the same on Asus X570 Plus  with A Ryzen 3600. Everything is up to date. I can even ad the k10temp nct6775 sensor and load the driver over the GUI.... but I cant select it under "Processor temperature:". I can only chose not used.

Is there any trick?

@Pascal51882 Just curious... Any reason Asus includes video out on that motherboard? I've seen this on some other higher end boards, and I have always wondered why they bother since only APU's can use this.

I dont know why they do this. To use this expensive X570 Motherboard would be wasted money for an APU

I have pretty much the same hardware and can't find a way either. Did you (or anybody) found a solution yet?

I’ve recently upgraded to 6.9.0 beta 1 With newest kernel and I now have cpu temp but still lacking motherboard temp this worked for me but it might not work for you hope this helps

Hey all Upgraded to 6.9.0 beta 22 and it turns out we now have motherboard temps aswell only problem is if you have a Vm you might run into some problems so unless you really need mobo temps due to certain living circumstances id probably wait abit longer. I've tried and looked for various solutions with no luck so far getting any to work other than that tho alot of cool new features to look forward to once stable release comes thanks Unraid Team. Another thing to bare in mind is if you do update to new beta 22 it changes a few things so if planning to downgrade back to 6.9.0 beta 1 your cache drives wont be mounted and youll have no containers or anything ect there is a fix for the downgrade on release page but if your like me and dont wanna fiddle with things to the point your whole system fails id suggest going back to beta 22 and calmly waiting for the Unraid Team to fix
