SavageAUS
Back story. I have installed nextcloud/owncloud in docker but it’s performance in dismal so I want to create a Ubuntu/Debian vm for nextcloud as performance seems better but I want to use my dockers (letsencrypt and mariadb) for reverse proxy and dB storage. Is this possible? If it is does anyone know how? Quote Link to comment
KMyers
Hello, That is exactly how I have mine setup. I have a Debian VM running with a LAMP stack and a Nginx reverse proxy to forward all NextCloud traffic to that URL to the VM. There is really nothing special you need to do for that type of setup. SavageAUS
Not exactly how i want mine done but similar yes. I want a VM just for nextcloud and the rest run in my dockers for reverse proxy and mariaDB. I dont want to manage several reverse proxies when i already have a docker for that. Quote Link to comment
XisoP
I'm joining this conversation. Slightly different setup. I plan on running a VM for home assistant and would like to run it through my docker reverse proxy. Quote Link to comment
