[Solved] Execution Error, /usr/local/sbin/qemu: Permission denied

Featured Replies

I might have had an unclean shutdown yesterday when adding new disks to my Unraid Server.

After that incident my VMs will not start any more. I have recreated libvirt.img, run Docker Safe New Perms, restarted VM manager and entire server a couple of times, Googled all day and tried changing owner and permissions on /usr/local/sbin/qemu but som far no luck.

libvirt.img and VM files are on the Cache disk.

This is the error I receive:

Attached are Diagnostic files from earlier today, the problem is still exactly the same.

I hope someone can help me! Thanks!

Is there some way I can reset/reinstall just the VM Manager and configuration?

Is it possible to reinstall the Unraid server and just copy all configuration except VM Manager configuration from old USB backup?

As long as I can keep my Docker configuration as well as all data in disks/shares I'm willing to try almost anything.

Thanks.

I solved it by reinstalling my USB, keeping configuration files except domain.cfg.
