Can't start my server

Featured Replies

Everything started when all the uploads I do to rclone became really slow so I rebooted the server and it got stuck at starting file activiy...

removed the file activity plugin.

Stuck at mounting disks.

The logs show it is stuck at the unassigned device but even removing it doesn't help.

And also..

I have removed everything from this .176. Every mapped network device. Still it tries to connect to /plex..

Diagnostics attached, please, help out.

Now it's showing that not a single one of my drives are mountable:

Unmountable disks present:
Disk 1 • HGST_HUH728080ALE600_2EG5T9UP (sdg)
Disk 2 • HGST_HUH728080ALE600_2EG5T9HP (sde)
Disk 3 • WDC_WD80EZAZ-11TDBA0_7SGZ2Y4C (sdb)
Disk 4 • ST8000DM004-2CX188_ZCT128DJ (sdh)
Cache • KINGSTON_SA400S37240G_50026B77826F266E (sdc)

Going to take it offline and see if a solution comes up.

Rebooting should fix it, if it doesn't post new diags after the reboot.

Rebooting several times made no difference.

Reverted back to 6.7.2 and uninstalled unassigned devices because according to system logs it was at it that it hanged.

Still stuck at starting the array: mounting disks...

I can see my files in the WebGui so those are present.

I've run smart tests on the cache and some drives, nothing showed up.

On 6.8.2 when stuck like this, if I click on start the array a second time it would try to mount the drives that are already mounted and show that all the drives can't be mounted.

Have you tried booting in Safe Mode to eliminate all plugins from being the cause of your problem?   The syslog seems to show that the array IS actually started!

If you have any script running at array start with the user script plugin disable it, there was recently a similar case.

Yes the rclone script was running at the start of the array.

Thank you! This fixed the problem and the server is back up :)
