I’m thinking about getting a new HBA for my 1u server. How many SSD’s can the LSI-9300-8e connect to in a backplate before it starts to be the bottleneck? It’s a 12Gb/s card that uses 8x of pcie 3.0. I’ve tried to find some maximum numbers for the card but have been unsuccessful, hope you all can help.
