Just joining and wanted to say hey.  I’ve been an unRAID user for about 2 years and been very pleased with the performance and capabilities.  My utilization is fairly basic with unRAID on a small NAS server for my family’s home network of desktop PC’s, notebooks, etc.  storing important files on shares.  The inspiration to build a NAS was digitizing all my music to a shared library for organization/access.   I enjoy audio tech and I use the NAS to stream FLAC format music files using Foobar2000 as the player.

unRAID works great and I’ve already purchased 2 other licenses for a backup server using spare parts and another portable mini-ITX SFF that I’ll use as a remote backup.  Getting familiar with Rsync commands and reading through the forums here was a great help.

Here’s the build of my primary DIY mini-ITX server
