120 GB SSD reported as 537 MB

Featured Replies

I have quite recently begun using unraid migrating from ubuntu. Not having the time to fiddle with the ubuntu-server, I like the GUI approach in Unraid. Ran into a problem when installing the cache drive, though.

I had a spare Intel SSD 120 GB that I added as a cache drive. To my surprise, the drive was reported as having 520 MB free space after being added (which I assumed included formating the drive), 16MB used (although no files can be found on the drive). Clicking on the drive icon, I can find among other information, that it indeed is a 120GB drive. Is the disk bad? Or are there any other mistake on my part?

Very likely, diagnostics should show the problem.
