@Roxedus It appears a dependency change got missed.

With the latest update to the Docker, this error is being spammed in the log and the DNS server is not responding.

It was not possible to find any compatible framework version

The framework 'Microsoft.NETCore.App', version '6.0.0' was not found.

- The following frameworks were found:
5.0.1 at [/usr/share/dotnet/shared/Microsoft.NETCore.App]

You can resolve the problem by installing the specified framework and/or SDK.

The specified framework can be found at:

.NET 6.0 is now required as of version 8.0 of the software.

Thanks. built a new image.

  • Thanks. built a new image.

  • This looks like what I've wanted for ages, been forwarding my pfsense/pihole dns queries over port 853 to cloudfare for a while.  I will post back thanks for contributing.

  • @m4gicfour Thanks, should be updated now.

Updated and working fine. Appreciate the quick turnaround.

Thank you!

I don't mean to be a bother, is it possible to get an update to 8.0.2? Thank you for putting this together, it's working great.

Hi,

after the last update the ip addresses are not show under column "data" into the zone. When I create a new record I set the ipaddress, but it is not show in the zone record list.

If I want to delete the record, I can't because I receive the error "Error! Parameter 'ipAddress' missing."

If I want update an existing record, I have the same error....

How I can fix it?

Regards

I don't understand why, but today it's working. The problem is gone.

Probably is the first time in my life that a problem go away without any intervention. 😳

What's the best way to set a static IP for this docker?

The logs keep repeating the above and the container will not start.

Is this still being maintained? Last update has it at version v8.1.4, latest version is 10.0.1.

I have been making sure it builds and runs, other than that I haven't spent much time on this. I do see there is a official container now, so that's probably the one you want to use.

I am still using your version. Is it possible to migrate everything to the official build???

EDIT: After resolving the issue with the official build (needs to change the path of the mount points of the container), I had to copy manually the contents of the old install to the new folder.

Better NOT point to the old (for safety in case you need to revert) and restoring from technitium backup, failed (because paths were different).
Works fine.
