6.8.2 - Networking no longer working

So I've spent the last 4 hours trying to figure out what happened after I upgraded to 6.8.2 from 6.8.1 so i thought I would turn to the pros. My router is not giving my unraid server an IP when i've set it to automatic (DHCP) nor will it give it an IP when I reserve one in the router. I've also tried setting a static IP both in the network.cfg file and also in the webui but although it shows in the WebUI in the status in the corner it doesn't actually set one as I cannot ping it or connect to it remotely.

I've ran diagnostics and attached the zip but to provide some background, I have been running unraid for roughly 6 weeks (new build), i've had some issues during the time with unraid disconnecting from my router and I had previously thought it was the switch it was connected to. However, everytime I made a direct connection to the router it would reset the connection. This time nothing seems to work. My router is an ISP provided one as I can't not use it but everything else that is wired to it via switch or directly works.

I'm not sure where the problem lies and I saw a post here where someone had a similar problem but the suggestions of doing "inet restart" haven't helped. Hopefully one of you kind souls can point me in the right direction

Why don't simplify the network setting first, just don't bonding NICs.

I have done that as well but its still not connecting, I've basically done both static and dhcp, ran inet restart for both and I still cannot get an IP. I was reading another post in here where the person went through a second router but it seems like that brought up other issues

Seems you got DHCP issue not only today, may be it is your ISP router DHCP problem, this is quite common. Pls try reboot the ISP router.

If confirm it is router DHCP problem, then you can simple disable it and add a reliable device for DHCP service, i.e. a cheap 2nd router for provide DHCP service.

Or if Unraid was 7x24, then it can use for DHCP service too, just never have more then one source to provide DHCP service in same network domain.

The only thing I'm not sure of is why dhcp is working for all other devices other than my unraid server. I agree that it would be more ideal to have a second dhcp service but the second router I currently have is behind a vpn. I contacted my isp and they rightfully said there's no issue that they can see with the dhcp service. So I'm wondering if it is the connection race and then if so how come it won't get an IP if I restart the connection?
