Unable to enable bridging

Featured Replies

Hi, I've been trying to enable bridging so I can have VM's assigned internal IP's. My issue is, when I enable bridging on ETH0, it causes unraid to stop being able to communicate with my router's DHCP server, as evidence by eth0 getting assigned a link local address (169.254.202.191), and no longer being on the network or connectable to the network.

I actually just fixed this issue, it was related to another issue I had with my NIC1 not communicating with my dhcp server recently. I just figured out it was a switch issue for that specific nic, and after factory resetting the switch, the NIC now works and BOTH eth0 and eth1 work. And now that both eth's work, bridging and bonding no longer get link local addresses.
