February 8, 20206 yr hi is there a way to see how fast file transfers are going in Krusader? as im pretty sure its going slow its nearly 24 hours and it 48% done transferring 3.5TB of data to a ntfs 12TB 7200rpm drive on a 3.1usb Enclosure and on a usb 3.1 usb port can you guys tell me if I getting the speeds or if Its really running at 3.1usb speeds etc and is there a way like in windows I can see MB/s in krusader? I tried code I seen in a different post sudo hdparm -i /dev/sdm to display my 12tb drive for this write caching but it didn't work any help be great tower-diagnostics-20200208-0607.zip
February 8, 20206 yr Author oh and I know I never had this slowness if I put the usb enclosure 12tb drive in a windows machine copy from the array over the network so just curious if krusader has speed limitations or something or if I can boost it .. just curious
February 10, 20206 yr I have seen Krusader transfer speed dropping over time and then eventually coming to a screeching halt on large transfers. However, your issue isn't with Krusader. It's NTFS. Linux doesn't work that well with NTFS.
