VM's will not allow changes

Hi All, a little help if appreciated. I have 2 windows 10 VM's, one is my photography/lightroom/video editing VM that I need to pass through my graphics card too, but before I can even select the card, it wants me to update the VM, which when I press the button "update" update at the bottom, it never returns. and no changes can be made. it just stays at "updating....." Looking at the log, I can only see what is in the attached image. 

After attempting the first change, now all VM's will not allow changes
