Unraid crashing daily

Featured Replies

Hello

I recently moved my server to a new tower and swapped a few drives.

After recreating the array I upgraded unraid to the latest version.

Ever since my server is crashing daily. At first I figured it might be either ram or cpu overclock (its an old gaming pc), so I reset my bios and removed any overclocks.

I also tried finding an update but it's a pretty old mobo and seems to be running the latest version.

When crashing the server is still powered on and I'm still getting a display output. Nothing is responsive.

Hello

I enabled logging as suggested, but of course the server has not crashed since (2 days uptime now).

I'll update the post if something happens, but this is the only thing in the logs so far:

CP: request_sock_TCP: Possible SYN flooding on port 54678. Sending cookies.  Check SNMP counters.

kernel: mdcmd (52): spindown 1

The server "finally" froze again.

Unfortunately there are zero entries from the time i logged on to the webgui first at 08:14, until I rebooted it when i got home at around 18:30. The server froze around 12-13:00..

08:14:40 x webGUI: Successful login user x from
18:30:13 x root: Delaying execution of fix common problems scan for 10 minutes
18:30:13 x root: Starting OpenVPN Server
18:30:13 x root: Starting Openvpn server.....

That would suggest a hardware problem, you can try running in safe mode for a few days with all dockers/VMs stopped, if it still crashes like that it's most likely that.
