eagle470
I've had a few unclean shutdowns in the past months, but none since my last parity check. Yet I have 7 corrections this check with an equal number last time. Does anyone have any advice? Just to be clear, I've attached SMART reports to be thorough, but I ran an extended test on all drives recently and everything came up roses. unraid1-diagnostics-20200210-1230.zip unraid1-smart-20200210-1300 (11).zip unraid1-smart-20200210-1300 (12).zip unraid1-smart-20200210-1300 (13).zip unraid1-smart-20200210-1300.zip unraid1-diagnostics-20200210-1230.zip unraid1-smart-20200210-1300 (1).zip unraid1-smart-20200210-1300 (2).zip unraid1-smart-20200210-1300 (3).zip unraid1-smart-20200210-1300 (4).zip unraid1-smart-20200210-1300 (5).zip unraid1-smart-20200210-1300 (6).zip unraid1-smart-20200210-1300 (7).zip unraid1-smart-20200210-1300 (8).zip unraid1-smart-20200210-1300 (9).zip unraid1-smart-20200210-1300 (10).zip Quote Link to comment
PeteAsking
If it was an equal number both times did you remember to tick the ‘write corrections to parity’ option? Quote Link to comment
eagle470
well....I don't know if that is checked...I will look at that when this check ends later today. Quote Link to comment
PeteAsking
If its not checked then it will always find the same exact errors no matter how many times you run it because you are not correcting them. Edited February 10, 2020 by PeteAsking Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
This last check was correct, so when done do a non correcting one and if all is well it should find 0 errors. P.S. SMART reports are included with the diags, no need to post them also. Quote Link to comment
