Is it possible to install VLC on unRAID?

 

I want to get it running so I can stream videos to my Android phone using AndroStream (http://androstream.mydedibox.fr/).

 

AndroStream is a streaming app like AirVideo.

 

It uses VLC and it's http interface to transcode and stream videos.

 

Any advice?

    I believe you can stream video with Subsonic as well.   You need to install some files for transcoding but I think it works.   I personally only use Subsonic for streaming audio but I know there is an Android app for it as well and it works on unRAID.
