Would it be feasible and if so, would it be foolish? Would have 4x4TB 5400rpm. But I may also put another 4 SAS drives on it as well also 4x4TB 7200rpm.

    Not feasible.

    Even if it were, it would be beyond foolish. Limited to under 28 MBps on each drive connected via the shared PCI bus.
