OpenSUSE Tumbleweed won't keep new resolution

Featured Replies

I just installed OpenSUSE in a VM.

[edit] I'm accessing the desktop via VNC.

The problem is that when I try to change the display resolution it does change, but immediately changes back to the original 1024x768 resolution.

The settings panel will still show the new resolution until I quit it and re-enter.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I have the same issue. I've tried all the scaling modes and multiple vnc clients, but I cant get anything to work.

I am trying to install Fedora 32, but similar problem. Can't change vnc resolution beyond the baisc 1024x768.

Trying to do the simplest install with nothing fancy, but can't seem to get resolution on the guest vm to change.

I have the same issue! Tried to set the resolution via Bash command (below) but didn't work either :(

xrandr --output Virtual-0 --mode 1920x1080
