Strange, Asmedia controllers aren't usually affect by IOMMU, does the same happen if you use another of the Asmedia controllers you have installed?

According to diags you have 4:

06:00.0 SATA controller [0106]: ASMedia Technology Inc. ASM1062 Serial ATA Controller [1b21:0612] (rev 02)
Subsystem: ASMedia Technology Inc. ASM1062 Serial ATA Controller [1b21:0612]
    Kernel driver in use: ahci
    Kernel modules: ahci
07:00.0 SATA controller [0106]: ASMedia Technology Inc. ASM1062 Serial ATA Controller [1b21:0612] (rev 02)
Subsystem: ASMedia Technology Inc. ASM1062 Serial ATA Controller [1b21:0612]
    Kernel driver in use: ahci
    Kernel modules: ahci
08:00.0 SATA controller [0106]: ASMedia Technology Inc. ASM1062 Serial ATA Controller [1b21:0612] (rev 02)
Subsystem: ASMedia Technology Inc. ASM1062 Serial ATA Controller [1b21:0612]
    Kernel driver in use: ahci
    Kernel modules: ahci
09:00.0 SATA controller [0106]: ASMedia Technology Inc. ASM1062 Serial ATA Controller [1b21:0612] (rev 02)
Subsystem: ASMedia Technology Inc. ASM1062 Serial ATA Controller [1b21:0612]

    Kernel modules: ahci

You you really only have one this could be part of the problem.

Hmm :o

I have this: ST Lab PCIe SATA 6G 8channel (just one) and 3 disk on it.

This is strange :o

I have just made a new server, and take the usb (unraid OS) over and the disks.

What can this be?

I have update the bios too.

Ahh, OK, Asmedia only makes 2 port controllers, so that controller uses 4 Asmedia chips, and looks like 4 separate controllers on the diags.

By the photo I see they have an extra chip probably to link all those controllers, and likely that's the one that is causing is causing issues with IOMMU.

So this wil work: https://www.ebay.com/itm/LSI-SAS-9207-8i-Storage-controller-8-Channel-SATA-6Gb-s-SAS-low-LSI00301/131835285562?hash=item1eb1fed03a:g:~GkAAOSwXK1bOM3n

But, I have 3 spot for this card?

But I going to drive a big geforce card on the first slot. (plex pass)

And I need a geforce card for bios / consol /server on slot 2 ( display for my server)

Then I have 1 slot left for this size. Can this card work on the last slot? on this? https://www.asus.com/no/Motherboards/ROG-Strix-X570-F-Gaming/ or i need the first slot?

Yes, but careful with Chinese fakes.

It should, link limited to x4, but that's OK for most HDDs.

PCIe link width, that slot is x16 physically but only x4 electrically.
