December 11, 201015 yr Does anyone have any comments or experience of using this board? I had one to hand and set it up with components I had laying about: 4GB DDR3 RAM AMD Athlon II X2 240e 5 x 160GB drives (attached to on-board SATA sockets) Pros: Has HPA disabled by default 8 SATA 3 sockets 2 x PCIe x16 slots GB NIC Cons: No onboard video (I used an old PCI card so as to not use the PCI-E x16 slots) UnRAID 4.6 detects everything fine so far as I can see, is there a way to be sure? Spec are here: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3423#ov I pre-cleared all of the 160GB drives simultaneously and averages around 90MB/s which I suspect is the drives maxing out. On the face of it this board seems idea,l but before I go nuts and build it into my rack case and load it with 2TB drives I though I better run it past you guys. Thanks, Dan
