December 11, 201015 yr OK, i've read other post and the Wiki but still am totally confused. I have ONLY ONE share on my Unraid "movies". I usually download directly to the harddrive that has the most space, but now I have random harddrives that have 30 gigs here and 50 gigs there. So my question is I want to start downloading directly the the user share "movies" but I don't want it to split files. How do I set it up for that? thanks.
December 11, 201015 yr If you could post the complete directory and file structure you use in this Movies share then maybe we could help. Otherwise, we are just guessing. Peter

Take a look at the split level discussion here: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=9463.msg90478#msg90478. I think this will help solve your problem. Kevin
December 12, 201015 yr Author Lionel, I'm not sure what you mean, but I'll explain what I think you mean. I have 10 Hard Drives, all different sizes and in the root directory of each drive is a Folder called "movies" In each movie folder are other folders with a single movie file in each, so separate folders for each movie title. I hope that explains it. I'll check out the other post recommended, thanks.
December 12, 201015 yr Then split level 1 and allocation method of high water should work for you. Peter
December 12, 201015 yr Author Thanks. Now when I download should I download directly to the Movies share or start with a specific hard drive?
December 12, 201015 yr Use the Movie share to have unRaid figure out where to put things based on your configuration. If you want to force something to a specific drive then do it manually using the Disk shares.
