Using Existing RAID 10

Featured Replies

Hello,

I had a motherboard die on me today and I figured I should look into some of my interests while my system is very much down. I'd be interested in running an unRAID system with both Ubuntu and Windows. (I really just want Windows for some light gaming and Office products). However, I have a RAID 10 that stores my data. My question is, continue to use this array without wiping it with unRAID.

Short answer is no

Longer answer is maybe, but probably no depending upon your hardware, the file system, partitioning scheme etc and in the long run probably not worth the aggravation
