How do VLAN static IPs work?

So beyond weird bugs i have been having, if I assign a static IP to vlan 3 in the Network Settings tab, the br03 interface disappears from the list of available networks for dockers

.

Is this expected behavior? I don’t know if my network stack is corrupted somehow or this is what is supposed to happen.
