Default shares wasn't created on installation

Featured Replies

Hello unraid forums.

I just got unraid installed yesterday, and installed a few plugins.

Now when I want to try out some dockers, I see that I have no shares.

The default ones I see around the internet, videos from Spaceinvader One, and so on, is always there, and I can't even create a share with my own name.

I don't know where I messed up, and I don't know what you need.

Can you guys help me?

If you want any help it is always a good idea to post the system diagnostics zip file (obtained via Tools >> Diagnostics).   That allows for informed feedback rather than just guesses.

just a thought - have you checked under Settings >> Global Share Settings that you have User Shares enabled?

I've added the diagnostics, and a picture of my global share settings.

You need to format the disks, next to array start/stop buttons.

I was trying to do that yesterday, I never figured out how.
Thank you!

As I said, I'm totally new to unraid, 99% of my PC knowledge is Windows.

The is a manual icon available in the lower right hand corner of the GUI which links to the online manual.  It has a lot of very helpful information in it.

I did try to look at it, but I couldn't find what I was looking for.

Thank you anyway though :)
