phrozen087
Amazing job on this! I saw the post on reddit this morning about the Intel GPU, so I commented out the modprobe in my go file, installed the Intel GPU Top plugin, rebooted and installed GPU statistics, setup the plugin and everything worked great! It's really nice to be able to see some visualizations and stats of life in the Intel GPU if it's doing some transcoding or something else. Quick question I was wondering, is if it is possibly to poll more than a single graphics card? I have an i9700k as the main CPU and use the Intel GPU for the dockers that benefit from it, but I also have a GTX 1080 installed for the gaming VM, and was wondering if its possible to have the Nvidia card polled by Unraid. My gut thought was that since the VM has control of this card than it might not be possible for unraid to see it unless I do the bios patch to the vm, but I was curious if there was a way to select a second card to poll within the plugin itself? 1 Quote Link to comment

Output from the suggested commands: Output from nvidia-smi -q -x -i 0 Output from cd /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/gpustat/ && php ./gpustatus.php There's obviously something wrong here. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin. I'm able to transcode plex with my GPU so I know it's working. gpustatus.php looks like this: You need to make some change (any change) on the settings page and apply it. You can then revert that change if you want the defaults. The new default is to have no vendor in your config file so that people don't install the plugin and never change any settings which are necessary for the Intel crowd. You have to change something for the apply button to show. Quote Link to comment

The plugin will not load automatically anymore due to too many issues with people not changing the settings. Edited January 14, 2021 by b3rs3rk Quote Link to comment

In your case, no. Once you use passthrough nvidia-smi will likely not see it anymore. Just test it. If after your gaming VM is started you can still poll stats by running nvidia-smi in the UnRAID console then I'm mistaken. In the general sense of multi-gpu I've considered doing a drop-down box like the NIC/network widget where I populate all graphics cards there so it can be dynamically selected. This would take quite a bit of work though and I'm not even sure it's possible because all the page code would have to be replaced for different vendor support. I dunno. Quote Link to comment

Just having the Intel one is huge for me, as that one has always been a bit "hidden" since it's mainly only used for Plex transcoding and stuff. I can always monitor the Nvidia GPU from the windows VM when its on, and when the VM is off it seems to completely turn off the graphics card. Again, great plugin and thanks so much for making it! Any update on my issue? i have tried with a Nvidia 1060 6GB GPU too and restarted my server and still get the same (blank), how do I fix it? Edited January 15, 2021 by bigup Quote Link to comment

If you have the default options set it may not be saved to your config file. Try setting the Intel options to No and hit Apply to make sure it is saved. You can't save the defaults which is something I'm looking into. If that doesn't fix anything you need to give me the troubleshooting info from the first post of this thread. Quote Link to comment

I went into settings and selected Intel, then applied, then I went back in and changed to nvidia and applied and the dash now works many thanks! 1 Quote Link to comment

b3rs3rk
Can anyone using Emby and/or Jellyfin tell me what processes show up at the bottom of nvidia-smi -q -x when transcoding? For plex it is the 'Plex Transcoder' but I'm not sure what it is for the others. I am expanding on the plugin offering for Nvidia to show little icons of what apps are using the GPU hardware. Should be ffmpeg, look at my Nvidia-Driver thread the second post, I posted 2 screenshots from Emby and Jellyfin I think. EDIT: Emby: Jellyfin: 1 Quote Link to comment

b3rs3rk
@antihero412 Yeah, this is a bug. Your Kepler Quadro doesn't support PCI RX/TX utilization and I'm not checking for it to be numeric before I try math functions against it. I'll push a fix. Thanks for the report. I now have a few reports that it is working and I also don't have a problem since the last update. 1 Quote Link to comment

b3rs3rk
what options controls these showing? PCI Utilization. I use them to calculate bandwidth maximums for the slider bars and figured people might like to see them. Too busy? Quote Link to comment
benno87
Firstly, great plugin and presentation of information! The drop down box to select GPU in a multi GPU setup is a great function. Is it at all possible to have both (or more) GPU's visible on the dashboard? I use 1 GPU for transcoding and 1 for VM. While the 1 for the VM isn't visible when in use by the VM, it would be good to still be able to monitor it when it's not (even if it's not doing anything). Alternatively, how could I go about installing a second instance of gpustats? 1 Quote Link to comment
