December 15, 201015 yr I have been trying to get this sorted out for several hours now. I have tried 2 USBs on 3 different computers with no luck. I looked at ldlinux.sys file and it looks like there might be some issues with it. Here is what seems strange to me It appears your computer has less than 256K of low ("DOS") RAM. Linux needs at least this amount to boot. If you get this message in error, hold down the Ctrl key while booting, and I will take your word for it. boot: Invalid image type for this media type! December 15, 201015 yr Try using this tool to prepare the flash drive. I used it recently for a new build and it worked great.
December 16, 201015 yr Author Thanks. That did the trick. I would be nice if there was a referance to this tool on the wiki or in some of the help posts.

Yes, I have not gotten around to adding it to the wiki... Plus I did not want to add it until I had tested it myself. I just recently did test it so will add it to the wiki when I get a chance.
