Help - Unraid stuck stopping the array + cache failure

Featured Replies

This morning I found that one drive in my cache pool had been kicked out of the cache and was now in unassigned devices. Additionally, the remaining cache drive in the pool only shows a size of 8GB and not 500GB.

So I tried to stop the array and unraid got stuck on stopping for an hour.  So, I forced it with an unclean shut down but it restarts with the array started (and the same cache issue).  Tried too stop the array again and same issue happens. Unraid will not stop the array it just says “Stopping” but doesn’t stop.

Is there a setting I can adjust so it doesn’t start with the array up?  What should I do?

please help!

Settings->Disk Settings-> Set "Enable auto start" to No.

I have made that change.

The server is still stuck at “stopping” the array after two hours.  Power down from the GUI doesn’t work.

I tried “powerdown -r” From the command line and it said it was going to powerdown But did not. The GUI is still accessible.

Any ideas do I just need to do an unclean shut down?

What is "df" at command prompt output ?

Anyway try umount most disk manually first before hard poweroff.
