[6.8.3] Transferred array to new server, being prompted for new encryption key

Featured Replies

I had a trial version of unraid, installed it and some drives and moved a bunch of data to it.  Everything looks good so now I went ahead and built the actual machine I want to use.  I also got a new USB stick that is smaller and doesn't stick out of the new machine so im basically starting fresh.

However, it would be nice to not have to transfer all the data again.  I installed unraid and moved the drives to the same spots as my trial machine.  I cannot start the array in the same way though.

It looks like it is telling me to create a new key - is it going to re-encrypt the entire array?  Or do I just double enter the same passphrase from the old array and it will automatically import the data?  Can't I just import the old array with the same passphrase?

For some reason it showed back up as normal after a few reboots.  Only saw the option once and all my data is back.
