Hey y'all,

 

I'm using a ML350p G8 as my unraid server. It's got a on-board USB and SD Card reader.

I know unraid needs a GUID but i have 0 knowledge about SD Cards so i'm, not sure if they even have a GUID lol

 

Do SD Cards have a GUID?

Can unraid be installed on a SD Card?

Which is better? SD Card or USB 2.0?

    USB2 will probably be more trouble-free even if you could get SD to work.

    I dont believe that SD Cards have a GUID, the SD card reader however may have one (likely being a USB device internally). The million dollar question is whether or not it is a unique GUID.
