Is a cache Pool (2x NVM M.2 on BTRFS) a setup-and-forget thing or do I need to hit that Balance button once in a while?

 

I found some posts here that a status-check and rebalance might be necessary. I don't understand that because I thought a RAID System would take care of that.

    Since kernel 4.4 balance is not needed, at least not regularly.

    Never did understand that BTRFS thing. "No balance found - perform balance". Sounds like something is missing (balance) and manual activity is needed. Reminds me of: "No error found - create error".
