March 14, 20206 yr I've seen prior feature requests for TPM support. While QEMU/KVM can support vTPMs, it requires additional packages that won't persist a reboot of my unraid host. I want TPM support, virtual or not, for my win10 guests. The goal is to use Windows Hello for PIN sign in, which cannot be done unless there is a valid TPM. Anyone using their Microsoft Account with a secure password to sign into windows will want Windows Hello to avoid typing long/obscure passwords.

No, once I saw I needed apt, I didn't bother with the setup process. Currently reinstalling and attempting to configure with a usb stick passed through to the vm. I could care less about the security aspect here (minimal security concerns with this setup). I am after convenience.

May 23, 20206 yr @wbsmolen I am also interested in the feasibility of TPM on a Windows 10 VM in unRAID. Did you manage to get it working? Can you share your experience? Thanks
