Running two NextClouds

Featured Replies

Just a quick question.

I am running Nextcloud on my server with "Mariadb" "Letsencrypt" and "Duckdns" and everything is running smoothly, but when I set it up I did with my own domain at "name.mycompany.com" now I want to set up another, I know I can have "another.mycompany.com" but I don't want to use "mycompany.com"

Can I run two nextclouds with the same "Mariadb" "Letsencrypt" and "Duckdns" pointing to "me.myhouse.com" or is there a way to run nextcloud pointing to two domains.

Thanks Phil.

I guess not all the question get answered in this forum.

If you want to run 2 servers of the same domain, that is easy. eg cloud.mydomain.com, cloud2.mydomain.com.

Use different ports on the nextcloud dockers. eg 444 and 446. Run 2 mariadb dockers.  Give them dofferent ports eg 3306 and 3305.

Same scenario for collabora.

I'm assuming you are running unraid dockers. I think the letsencrypt docker only handles 1 domain and it needs to have port 443 and an 80?? port, so I'd reckon the other domain would need to be on a different WAN.  You could probably run them on the same unraid server but with separate wan ports.

Hi guys,

I know it is long time after this post, but has anyone of you experience 502 errors on the second nextcloud from time to time? For me it all works fine, but once a day it redirects to 502 bad gateway for some reason.
