ATTO H30F firmware for >2TB drives?? LSI 9201-16I controller???

Featured Replies

I upgraded my unraid license from Basic to Pro and, in order to get advantage of it, I went and bought a 2nd hand ATTO H30F ESAS HBA. The card works and picks up all the drives and all but it lists them as 1.99TB drives even tough I have a mix of 3TB and 4TB drives. Is there any firmware update that adds support for >2TB drives? Tried to look on the ATTO website but the card isn't listed in the downloads section ( https://www.atto.com/downloads/ ). Google isn't being too kind with the search results either.

TL:DR - As the title says

good chance you're SOL, as that card is old.

Yeah pretty much what I thought just wanted to make sure :( I guess I could use it for my decomisioned drives or something (those are pilling up XD)

In hopes of improving the situation I removed the heatsink to find out what kind of controller it had but the chip is blank XD

I've seen references to  the 9201-16I, mainly on items listings, for example a seller had it listed as:

HP 1208 de ATTO H30F 16-Port SAS RAID SATA Array

HP part number 511799-001

Model: 9201-16I

Anyone knows if it's a 9201-16I  for sure???
