March 17, 20206 yr Hi Guys, My current server specs are are below: SuperMicro X10SL7-F Intel Xeon E3-1276v3 32GB DDR3 ECC Dual Parity + 18 Data Drives Samsung 850 Pro 1TB SSD Cache Drive While it has been a great workhorse for my media needs -- Radarr, Sonarr, rTorrentVPN, SABnzbdVPN, NZBHydra2, Jackett -- I'm ready to upgrade, as I'm starting to hit near 100% load, even with CPU pinning, and while I don't do a lot of transcoding or serving media outside of my own LAN, I'm running into a few bottlenecks. While I know Ryzen packs a ton of punch and I've used a 3900x in my latest computer build, I'm not sure that that's the best path for me, as I don't need a GPU for transcoding etc. I do need a MOBO with as many SATA ports as possible and I'll obviously need to maintain expansion slots for the additional SATA ports. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
