December 21, 201015 yr I'm thinking of building the Drive Beast. Would this set be compatible to the 4GB recommendation for the Drive Beast build? What are the differences, if any?
December 21, 201015 yr With the Supermicro board in the beast (the X8SIL version) you need ECC unbuffered RAM. The above should work on the C2SEE, though Supermicro boards can be picky about RAM. I would do some googling and reading to make sure that this RAM will work with the C2SEE.

Does anyone know if I could expect the cost of the recommended RAM to be any lower in the near future?
