Ideals
I just recently (yesterday) built a Unraid system to replace my problematic Freenas build (Been running freenas since 2014). I used an older system as the build candidate, core i7 2600k with 24GB ram. Today I got a hold of a Xeon e5-1650 v4 with an x99 motherboard . No Ram yet I am pairing this with a Quadro p2000 (yes! Hardware passthrough) for Plex use. My main use case is Plex media server and also file sharing for the family. Should I go through the trouble of swapping out? And she'll some $$$ for RAM.. Thanks for the input Quote Link to comment
