Hi!

 

I have a issue that affects my Folding@home container. As this problem persisted even after deleting my docker.img i´m coming here for help. The problems i experience is that both the web ui for the container will not load and it does not start up properly so that i cannot fold anything. In these times i would really like to contribute as i once did.

 

This is a little bit from the docker log:

Hi! I had a lot of success with deleting the appdata folder with Midnight commander without the need for reinstalling the container once more. Previously the only values i had changed was my team number and username. The remaining issue is that the web control user interface is not available. The folding itself seems to be operating fine. I see the percentages going up and the log is much better.

I'm also unable to get the F@H webUI to load.

It appears from the logs that F@H is running but the webUI returns an empty response.

Oddly enough, it works on FireFox but not Chrome. At least I have access to the webUI now.

Your IP in the config is 192.168.1.1/24 which wouldn't allow access from 192.168.0.34 based on your log.

 

Try 192.168.0.0/24

Hi! Thank you for the suggestion. It worked after i fiddled with it again since i made changes to the remote access config and not the local one. Thanks a lot! I do have some issues getting workloads and uploading results, but i´m attributing that to the general uptick in network traffic and issues with the projects homepage.

 

So to be clear, the change i made was to change the config to the following on this line:

  <allow v='192.168.0.0/24'/>

If it is of any help, I am finding that clearing Chrome's internet cache solves the issue - although just temporarily.

It returns after I start a new Chrome session.

 

This does not occur in the Incognito windows - evidently because the data that causes the issue with  the Web Control page is automatically flushed after each use.
