December 16, 201015 yr Hi, I have as problem where I'm unable to read files from unRaid using Samba / NFS (currently disabled - need to retest..). I could read / move files via Samba without problems. I could fully access the files on the unraid system itself (I transferred a large amount of files using rsync over SSH (installed from unmenu, which is currently disabled as part of troubleshooting)) Setting "use sendfile = no" in smb.conf fixes it. (For Samba) Clients tested: XP SP3, XP x64 SP2, Ubuntu 10.10 Client explorer / file viewer would hang or give "no such path"-type error. Any idea what can cause this? (According to the Samba docs this seem to be a experiment feature) Edit: NFS is still broken. lt mounts quite quickly. A ls on the mount goes quick, but after broswing to the mount using nautilus even ls take > 30 seconds.
