March 20, 20206 yr Hello. I'm having difficulty connecting to Unraid VMs with Virt-Manager as per the instructions in this video from spaceinvaderone. I've linked to the time that the issue appears where you select the "method" to use to connect. What I've noticed is that recent versions of Virt-Manager no longer allow you to select the method, so you have no dropdown menu to select TCP as the method. Not sure why, but neither Debian or Fedora versions of Virt-Manager allow you to select the method any longer. Ubuntu still does, but it's only a matter of time before that goes away I expect. I'm mostly interested in using it to do snapshots, but this is preventing me from doing that. How are people doing this now on more recent versions of Virt Manager? Thanks! Example image here:

April 16, 20206 yr Hello, is it possible to change the keyboard in virt manager? Can't write numbers and that's quite a problem. THX for help
September 2, 20205 yr Anyone ever solve this? I'm having the same issue with linux mint 20. Nevermind, I solved this. Custom "URIs" are created for this behind the scenes. I created a connection on my old rig and copied the text. Example: qemu+tcp://[email protected]/system Edited September 2, 20205 yr by scorcho99 Solved
December 19, 20205 yr Greetings Y'all ! Is vert-manager still the overall best solution to manage unRAID kVM's remotely? Are there any other options?
