Stuck at "Array Stopping - Sync filesystems"

Featured Replies

Hi,

I downloaded and installed 6.8.3 and wanted to reboot the system because the update told me to and now the server is stuck while stopping the array.

What should I do?

Since it's stuck for some reason, you can't really do anything other than hard reboot.  From the terminal, this *might* help

powerdown -r

(But, it does appear that the drives have all been successfully unmounted so you *should* be good.

Thanks for your answer but now it is stuck in powering down for over 10min.

A new set of diagnostics would tell us why.

Well I should have come up with that myself. Here it is

Just reboot.  I think the problem is that the virtual drives of yours keep getting reattached.  IE: I can't really think of any other solution right now other than to bite the bullet.

It started normal and is now doing a parity check (wich I did the day before yesterday).

Thanks for your help. I am still somewhat new to unraid

I *think* its completely safe to cancel the parity check.  It did appear that everything was unmounted correctly.
