UnRaid Download

Featured Replies

I been trying to update my UnRaid to the latest version, but the webui was basically taking forever. So I tried to download, but the USB Creator timeout. Downloading the zip file is also timing out as well. It seems there might be an issue download from s3.amazonaws.com servers which is region dependent. I am trying to update/download from Asia (Malaysia) and is simply impossible, and I have not found any alternative download locations.

Can some point me to an alternative download location that is NOT s3.amazonaws?

Try installing the nVidia or unRaid DVB plugin.  Via it you can also upgrade to stock OS.  Not 100% sure though what servers they use for hosting though.

Tried downloading the zip file and it finally worked, albeit the download is still slower than normal, but at least it did not timeout. Actually, I suspect with the COVID-19 lockdown, the strain of internet traffic could be the primary reason for the slow download speed.

In any case, I did not proceed with the update as the USB drive is showing signs of damage. After backing up the USB drive, then reformatting and copying back the contents, when running "Make_Bootable.bat" I get the error message "The drive is write protected." which it isn't. Googling this msg lead me to suspect the drive is breaking down.  Since this drive is in use since 2012, I just ordered new USB drive replacement, and will figure out how to transfer the license when it arrive.
