SMB shares seems to stop working over time

Featured Replies

Hi there, I recently setup and unraid server after moving needing to upgrade and old Windows 8 Box that was sitting in the closet providing my networking shares.  I have new hard drives and nothing else on the Unraid server, I copied everything over from an external backup drive and created new users for the SMB private shares.  Everythign works great and I can see the folders by typing \\tower\ in Folder Explorer.  I have noticed that over the last few days of having the unraid server, I cant access the smb shares form the same computer the previous morning for example.  I can ping the name and IP and can access the unraid web gui from any browser.   I reboot my computer and I can see them again, but at somepoint I seem to lost access or something.  Simple unraid setup with 2 2tb drives, 1 4tb parity and 1 500gb ssd cache.  Any help is appreciated

'my computer'---  Is that the client or the server?
