Disk Unmountable From Array

Disk 9 in my array suddenly (Unmountable: No file system). How do I get the files out.  I didn't setup the parity yet, or how can I fix the problem.

    Disk9 is failing, since there's no parity best bet is using ddrescue, then fix filesystem if still needed.

    thank you i'll look into that.  BTW I what should i do with the disk? Throw it away?
