March 26, 20206 yr I have two linux VMs, they are the only VMs I have running, and both will not boot after I restart the unraid server or restart the array. When I click on the VMs and select start they both happily boot up. I have tried updating grub to have a boot delay (60 and 120 seconds) on each VM to see if this was due to all the dockers starting up causing some issues with the VMs. I also tried messing around with what CPU threads the VMs could run on. Initially it was just 2->7 but I ended up adding 0 and 1 as well. March 26, 20206 yr Sorry don't understand your problem statement. Is it that you set these VM to start automatically but after you reboot Unraid, they don't start automatically? I.e. you have to manually start them after boot?
March 26, 20206 yr Author Sorry I should have been clearer. The VMs are set to autostart but they won't after reboot or array restart. I have to go in and click start for them to run.

I have to go in and click start for them to run. Then you would also need the syslog which would provide more clues as to what happened at boot. Or simpler, just attach the diagnostic zip (Tools -> Diagnostics).
April 8, 20206 yr Author Sorry it took a while for me to need to stop and then start the array. I have attached the diagnostic zip file I took a few hours after the reboot when I noticed that the VMs were still stopped when I restarted the array. thecat-diagnostics-20200407-2118.zip
